I should know as I have 25 stcoks in my DRIP accounts that I started way back in 1996. That was my entry to the investment world and I had setup my accounts for monthly auto deduction from my pay check which I stopped in 2004. Have Pepsi, Coke, McDonald, AFLAC, MOT, Merck and many more. Have not sold a single share. Don't even check the accounts for years. AFLAC has the highest return if I remember correctly. The last time I checked must have been 2 years ago. The only one that lost money was Intel. I can retire if I sold all my DRIP accounts today. But keeping it for my 15 yr old boy.
