No worries, glad to have you aboard. Here is my take on the subject:

NITE is a market maker (MM) that completes orders on foreign exchanges. While there are quite a few, NITE has been the one most prevalent here at ALCD. Level 2 (available here on iHub but also elsewhere) shows which MM is on the bid and which is on the ask and lately it has been NITE on both. There has always been much controversy on the actions of these MMs as there is less regulation and sometimes very suspicious activity. Some believe MMs take a less than moral stance and try to entice shareholders one direction (many times to sell) so they can pick up shares for cheaper before a rally. If one is experienced enough, they look for trading patterns by certain MMs and try to deduce trading conclusions.
