Video-in-Print Killed the Media Star?

Posted August 20th, 2009 by theStockMasters... in Financial News

CBS (CBS) will insert thousands of tiny screens into magazine Entertainment Weekly (TWX). Each of the screens, which can play 40 minutes of clips from CBS shows, probably cost in the "low teens." The company that makes these amazing battery-powered-ads is privately held Americhip Inc. from Los Angeles, CA they call it 'Video-in-Print'. I know, if only you could buy into Americhip, we want to as well.

First up, Americhip Inc. is not that shady OTC stock trading today for under a penny, how about $0.0008. AmeriChip International Inc. (OTC:ACII) from Clinton Township, MI is not Americhip Inc. that is all the buzz for their Video-in-Print technology.

Via cNet.com -- Here are some more details about the Americhip technology: the screen, which is 2.7 millimeters thick, has a 320x240 resolution. The battery lasts for about 65 to 70 minutes, and can be recharged, believe it or not, with a mini USB cord--there's a jack on the back of it. The screen, which uses thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT LCD) technology, is enforced by protective polycarbonate. It's a product that has been in development at Americhip for about two years, spokesman Tim Clegg told CNET News via e-mail.

"It's leadership in innovation, which we really stress at CBS in every part of our company," Schweitzer said of the ads, which were developed with the collaboration of the Ignition Factory, a division of the Omnicom Group's OMD media agency.

All the Masters care about is will Americhip go public, let's hope so.
