Remember that all bodies in space are highly charged. How they interact is unique.

Perturbations are the long range gravitational effects of a large body affecting another.

Something coming into range could pull all kinds of things out of their ordinary movement patterns and trajectories.

Space is like sheet of fabric held taut at the corners. Bodies in space like weights on the fabric. The dimpling effect of heavy weight on the fabric is going to pull smaller weights toward it. All that is missing is the attraction/repellant factor of these various weights on the fabric. We can't easily duplicate that in a physical model.

It's a MASSIVE plasma discharge from the flyby of some object that threatens us most, as I see it.

We have lots of changes in our local space environment and our placement IN space that add up to serious stuff and point to possibilities.

I see it all as one gigantic gestalt.
