I know exactly what you mean. I always buy at the ask no matter the size of my order. Thats just how I go. However on low volume days, whackage is alot more prevalent. Some folks feel like bid sitting is more important in that scenario. I agree to a point, accumulating quietly while slow is not a bad thing, it will keep the SP from dropping too much. However I do agree, tapping the ask is more effective, if the ask goes up, the bid will more than likely follow suit, under buying pressure. I'm hoping I'll get to pick up some shares on the ask Monday or Tuesday. Lets get this puppy back to where she SHOULD be trading!!!
