Nächster Bericht: !!! Meeting info. First dinner was very filling last night and tasty.Naturally the wife on her first spin on the slots won $100.Deb was her lucky charm. A good time was had by all.A couple of new faces showed up too.It was mostly casual about 36 people total, 12 from HRCT and even Charlie Yang the ex CEO from years back showed up since everyone who befriends Alan keeps that friendship.Charlie still working his angle of helping the company in his capacity of working at Charles Scwabb in the Asian Investor Sector. Very impressed with Billy Wang ( new chairman of the board) this guy is on the ball and very bright on business economics and fundamentals and the international aspects and their relationship to each other. He travels alot back in forth between the states and China. He also has alot of input with Carrie through meetings weekly with her and other members of the board.I had lunch with Carrie back in NY on Mon after she meet with AF and discussed some strategies she might take and they set her up with about 12 different institutional investors and firms for Tues and Weds of this week. She will be in San Fransico on Mon Tues of next week for more of the same which should get our name (HRCT) out into the market even more so than it already is. She got a very good response from most of them and are interested in how she's taking HRCT to the next level and will grow the bottom line up from here on out. They specifically asked about the volume and if they were to take a position in the company wondering about the liquidity and the float buying into the stock and worrying about driving the PPS up in the process.Naturally they want to buy as much as possible down here at .20.We shall see how serious some of them are if we see volume pick up in the weeks to come. She still is pursuing acquisitions of companies with at least 30% profit margins of which she is working on 2 that she hopes to close out by the years end. There is a solid core group that now has taken it's position on the board with a strong business acumen to back it up.
Carrie laid out a fundamental outlook on were the company looks to improve itself and mostly from the bottom line profit margins through the ERP software program which should be up and running by end of OCT and like I said previously through compnies with a 30% profit margin.David Chen spoke briefly about FTL and were they are at and should soon come to market through the responses and answers they are getting from the NASD for listing on the OTCBB. Funny HRCT getting off this pig and FTL trying to get on. O well lifes goes on.The best news I felt came from John Furutani about the SEC case and their lack of proof and or evidence in their case against HRCT. As posted prior, they were required by a judges order to be held for at a meeting for deposition to answer questions asked by John. They showed up and sat down from 10:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon and DIDN'T answer a single question. They did state their names though.(LOL) Damm nice of them to do that. So looks like their case against HRCT won't be going anywhere except BYE BYE. John feels they have no evidence to back themselves up with and by not answering any questions or presenting anyn evidence, he will be pursuing the proper legal recourse of action to get the case dismissed.
In regards to the lottery John had a bucket with the names of ALL shareholders who submitted themselves and 10 different people out of the audience pulled a name out one by one.No one in the audience was called. Not sure if Alan will notify winners through e-mail individually or separately. Congratulations to all winners.Tinberry caught the red eye afternoon flight out right after the meeting so he's probably still in flight back to H. For those who have never attended a shareholders meeting with HRCT I'm gonna say lots of you will be here next year. MARK MY WORDS ON THIS. O well back to the gambling or sleep which ever takes over first.
