I would state that the 344V is so odd for a ballast voltage, I am not sure it really is a viable product. AXIS has a UL rated ballast for Canada that is rated at 277V the typical two phase service common for most commercial flourescent lights.

This question as to why it was never rated should be addressed to the company, I would suspect that there is no market for this.

We just hope that the market for their other products bear fruit. This summer needs some rain!
