As someone who has slung a few blue tarps myself, and been a first and second responder, I can tell you for a FACT, that those poor people are sooooo grateful when someone shows up to help them, it will bring tears to your eyes how happy they are for a simple blanket and some fresh water.
If you weren't there in the aftermath of Katrina and Rita, then there is no way you can understand, what a blessing an actual organized company, with a plan, will be. The last thing you want are a bunch of FEMA idiots attempting to handle a disaster. A real company responding, will help to alleviate the SNAFU that ALWAYS happens after these things hit. And is one hell of a lot better than the hordes of truck-and-hammer scammers that descend in droves, like vultures, to capitalize on the confusion.
