LAS VEGAS, Jul 8, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Barrington Foods International, Inc. (BFII, Trade) announced today that it was launching a new soymilk powder under its trade name "Pride and Soy." The instant soy milk powder will be sold in a 600 gram (21.2 oz) can using organic Non-GMO soybeans. Each can will make 10 quarts (2.5 gallons). Chm. R. Williams stated, "Sales of soy foods in the U.S. grew 250% since 1995 with 2000 sales reaching $2.77 billion. In 2001, growth averaged 20% with soymilk being particularly strong in sales. We are now in the process of distribution of our new instant `Pride and Soy' with strong sales anticipated for 3Q02."
