Mr. Winnick has been a visionary, among the first to market microcomputers, satellite telecommunications, and design proprietary commercial launch vehicles as a venture capitalist in the telecommunications industry. President and Founder of Space Launch International, Inc. in 1994, he capitalized AltaTel, and Satcom in San Diego, California. At an OPEC meeting in the United Arab Emirates with Stanford University Department of Telecommunications, Mr. Winnick introduced Foss Environmental to the UAE in a critical multi-tanker oil spill disaster in the Gulf, and international funding for Space Access in the field of Wireless Low-Earth-Orbit (“LEO”) Telecommunications.
