OT - Whole foods

Hard to say whether this is a big deal or not. If you check the facebook link on the TIME's blog, that lists more than 7.5 K members. Assuming each member spends an average of about 400 per month at whole foods and they do end up carrying out their boycott, that would be about 3 million per month in lost revenue based on the number of people on facebook who boycott whole foods. Since sales for the quarter were 1.9 billion for WFMI then 3 million a month is a minuscule amount though mackey may not agree. Investors will care if the number of people on facebook who boycott is a fraction of the total number who boycott. Though that number may get balanced out by conservatives who otherwise don't shop at WFMI but will do so to support mackeys views, though they may not spend as much.
