His business so far has been reading old degraded computer tapes for NASA, MIT
and other companies and universities.
Noone else can read these degraded tapes, and Mr. Bordynuik has developed
special tape drives in order to complete this process.
As a result, he has access to the largest technological knowledge base in the
world.
NASA has just given him an exclusive procurement contract to read the millions
of tapes they have in storage. He gets $22/tape.
While perusing the knowledge base, Mr. Bordynuik discovered a catalyst which
facilitates the breaking down of plastic into a diesel fuel. The company will be
franchising this waste plastic processing business across the country. The first
large processing machine is currently enroute from China. Btw, the old computer
tapes will also be fed into the machine after they have been read.
Fortunes have been made by joining the right company during it's early days.
