Gang, as a newbie to this type of trading (other than buy and hold for LT without keeping up with daily action), what desktop apps would you recommend me installing/joining/becoming a member of?

I trade thru TDAmeritrade and other than this BB I'm conversing with you now on, I only keep up with things lightly via the TDAmeritrade streamer to my desktop...no subscriptions, just the basic streamer.

You guys certainly must use some other app/suite to track detailed action...any pointers for a newbie???
