Thanks spp119 for this info but spudding will probably start sooner as there is no need to put anchors out as was shown here today. The Sedco 702 has a state of the art dynamic positioning system (DPS 2 capability was added in 2007) which keeps it on site without anchors just like the Deepwater Pathfinder.
