Every vessel needs a survey of the hull on regular base for undesirable accumulation of microorganisms,plants, algae, and/or animals on wetted structures. Propellor is also checked on this. This can cause to reduce speed to 2-3 knots. Even a vessel that is sailing gets these microscopic growings and if at anchor it's even worse. The state of the zinc anodes is also an important item that is checked.
