"One project is the Coos Loop, or Northern Loop, an electric reliability upgrade to northern New Hampshire's power grid. It would provide added capacity to carry power from several local renewable energy projects currently on the drawing boards -- to be built using former wood and paper industry plants. Many of these former plants will be used to generate electricity from biomass and other renewables to the state's population center to the south."
