Unfortunately you make no sense! MM and Hedgies pay no commission. They bring the price down by selling blocks of 5000 shares at a time because their holdings of say 10,000,000 shares . When the price drops by each .001 cent and they are short say 10 million shares They gain $10,000 on every .001 cent.
