No matter what anyone on the internet message boards tries to claim, the sponges are just not selling through at the retail level very well.

Every single store I have found has the same one or two sponges on the shelves they had a month ago. Online sales are even worse. Remember the HD site which tracked sales from about 9 different inventory pools? Some of the retailers haven't sold any in the past one month and Ace Hardware Outlet has sold a grand total of two.

And those online "reviews" are hilarious. They are so clearly written by shills and shareholders it is pathetic. Some of them even tell people to "buy the stock" lol.

Once you get past the SPNG shareholders going out and buying them for their friends, or Moskowitz sending money to people to buy them up in test markets, the retail interest is paltry at best. The best sign of this to anyone who has experience in the distribution business is the fact that retail prices for the sponges have fallen off a cliff in the past 6 months.
