Even the last option could be described the way as it was quoted in the Linuxworld article. ;) It just depends on how "new silicon" is defined.


the trouble with this third option is the Intel quote continues: "So to light it up so fast is not a difficult thing."

If it were true dual-core, they wouldn't be talking as if they just slapped it together. And to refer to a dual-core as "not new silicon" would be an incredible stretch. Even Elmer agrees!
