Reverse splits are the penny player's worst nightmare a MM's dream. As you will see, your shares will be reduced evenly by the split ratio which sounds ok on paper. However, when the stock trades again under the new symbol only the ask will be reflective of the the new split price. The bid will be much lower. If you want to sell, as many do because they just want out, you will get a substantially lower return than selling your shares before the split. I've gone through quite a few r/s and all have been BIG losers. If this is a winner, it will be a first for me.
