***TRTN*** Why I'm drinking the kook-aid.

Posted this on my board, so might as well do it here as well.

I'm not going to worry too much about presentation here, because I am a lazy man.

I believe this is the best story I have ever seen in the stock market. I was trying to pry the board this week to see if they felt the same about TRTN without me making a case, hyping, etc. We all know there is considerable risk when investing, and TRTN is no exception. They don't have earnings reported, YET, and when they do, some speculation as to what they might be will still have to be made. I believe by October, that TRTN will be running the tape converting business at a rough annual EPS of 0.15ish. We won't know for sure until Feb. 2010. It's a pretty simple business plan, so I think it's pretty easy to make the assumption. So, if we make that assumption, with a 10 PE, then the stock should be worth around $1.50. Trading at $1.00 then, seems like a decent risk/reward. Not great, but decent. The market could take a dump, and nobody may care to speculate ahead of time on the earnings, or even when they do come in, but I'm comfortable with the market rallying at some point in 2010, and TRTN to get back to $1.00 in a worst case scenario. TRTN is the sole source for MIT and NASA. They have hundreds of thousands of tapes that need to be converted. TRTN also has The United Nations, The U.S. Army, and Harvard as clients. That's an impressive list of customers. This business could grow substantially over the next few years. Additional shifts could be run at their brand new facility. Their mobile unit could be sent on many more deals. It's not often that you get involved in a highly speculative stock that has this solid base business to provide value. Usually, if you are into pure speculation, you are just speculating on total thin air, no backbone.

The major speculative part, icing on the cake, is the plastic2oil business. I've said this before to friends, and I have seen Rawnoc also say it recently, but if TRTN plastic2oil is a scam, that might be better. Scams tend to rocket, and solid ideas seem to take longer to reach their true value. So, even if it is a scam, that doesn't mean it can't reach a huge valuation. I've seen many stocks that are purely speculative, and turn out to be hot air, reach $200, $400, even north of $800 million market capitalization. If the plastic2oil business is real, then it should add about $2.00 worth per share for each company owned machine, about $0.70 for each franchised machine. Yes, that is major speculation, but I hope/think it is somewhere in that neighborhood.

John has stated that he wants to purchase two more companies. He wants to buy already profitable companies, that he can bring some synergy to. This could potentially add even more value to the stock.

So, I think the company has this kind of possible speculative power:

$1.50-$2.00 for the tape business alone
$4.00 for the speculative plastic2oil business(based on roughly $200 million market cap speculation)
And additional acquisitions, if indeed they are profitable.
------------------------------------
That equates to why I think it might reach $5+ in the coming months.

I do think it is possible that the plastic2oil is real, or at the very least, something that John is honestly trying to make work, with no ill intentions.

Reasons:
-Why put his profitable tape business on the line?
-His "Honest John" incident.
-An email I received from him, and how he treated me. He was very straight forward, with no hype, and ended with, invest whenever you are comfortable, but please understand I am trying to build a company based on value, and please give me time to execute the plan.
-His PR's. No hype, straight forward, honest.
-170 IQ
-My perception that he is obsessed with making things work more efficiently, and for everyone to have their role in making things better, desire to bring back jobs to Niagara, etc.
-His stated desire to buy a chemical company to hide the secret catalyst for converting plastic2oil.

We shall see.

To know the truth, one must get rid of knowledge, as nothing is more powerful and creative than emptiness.
