Now that is pretty funny. So. California is the car washing capital of the USA. There are more cars here and more car washes than you will find anywhere else in the country. There are also a lot of people washing their cars by hand especially since the economy has become stressed.

The problem is that the Spongetech car sponges are a gimmick and most people who wash their cars by hand know it. Once you get past the shareholders and company shills writing the phony reviews at places like Amazon and Ace, you have to deal with reality and the reality is that the car sponges are inferior to the competition's car products and they are overpriced.

McGuiars, Turtle Wax, Mothers, and Armor All dominate the market for good reason. Their products are good. They don't rely on gimmicky "as seen on TV" nonsense to sell a few short life products.


Southern Cal has no water and no money. So why waste their time marketing there... smart marketing, IMO.
