Actually, I disagree. I a administer the web for a 6 hospital system and we NEVER take a website down - EVER, EVER EVER. Maintenance is performed in real time and pushed to the production servers.

Been at it 16 years, If their provider didn't "lose" connectivity then something is up. Could be an unpaid bill for all I know.
