My broker has had another conversation with Randy.
He is extremely optimistic.

His chief geologist is convinced that La Gitana will be bigger than anything they found for Francisco.

Thay made the unusual step of a partner for La Juliana because they got an offer too good to refuse.

They have four or five other properties they will be working on. He is confident that at least one project will hit it big.

They have the organization in place to begin a massive drill program. They have spent the time doing things like preparing roads, detailed planning of the drill program, and most importantly cultivating good relations with the local populace. They feel the political situation where they are is optimal.

As opposed to all other (many) times they have had conversations, Rand was no longer preaching patience with the stock. He said that the stock could start moving soon-and move hard.

Of course all of the above is second hand-and sure the stock is risky and you could lose everything. It comes down IMO as to whether or not you believe in Randy. My broker and I clearly believe in him-very much FWIW.

I am going to get in on a three phone conversation with him next time, and I hope to invite him for dinner they next time he is in Florida

< and you could lose everything.>
Well not really.. $1.50/share cash in the bank. This will be spend progressively depending on success.

Orther valuable properties are also worth money.

Geologic info and databases, staff and experience also worth a lot.
