FROM COMMERCE RES Investor Fact Sheet Feb 2009: "At Blue River, Commerce has identified three deposits and is focused on bringing the Upper Fir into commercial production. Based on the first 38 drill holes completed from 2005-2007, the Upper Fir contains a National Instrument 43-101 compliant indicated resource of 14.68 Mt with average grades of 190 g/t Ta2O5 (tantalum) and 1,300 g/t Nb2O5 (niobium) and an inferred resource of 19.8 Mt with average grades of 188 g/t Ta2O5 and 1,612 g/t Nb2O5."
My Calculations of Commerce's Data: 14,680,000 tonnes x .0013 = 19,084 tonnes X 2204.6 lbs./tonne = 42,072,586 lbs Niobium (INDICATED)
19,800,000 tonnes x .001612 = 31,917 tonnes X 2204.6 lbs./tonne = 70,365,540 lbs Niobium (INFERRED)
I realize that our report contains no Tantalum valuations but keep in mind that the assay results from the D Zone adit samples showed an average 0.0181% Tantalum* which is pretty close to Commerce's results above.
