I'm thinking there is one minor detail wrong in your calculations.... I'm betting a synthetic sponge is extremely cheap to produce specially if you own the company producing it.... You can bet the soap,wax,etc ingredients are produced in huge vats and go along way.... I feel their profit margin is high and we are paying them for their technology more than the product, packaging, etc..... Sure would be nice to see what the bottom line is....
