"Shorts", is also a term 4 traders that only hold a stock 4 a 'short' period of time...some are 'flippers' (bad 4 'longs')...some are traders that trade in cyclicles & seasonal stocks ( people don't buy swim suits in the winter etc).
Gets confusing , I know.
