If I understand correctly Scott is morning a long time family friend and Partner/co-worker. (Mr Hawke)

I know from first hand experience that it would be very difficult to be up beat about the most positive thing in your life when you lose a close friend.

With that considered..... give him time to move past the loss and his drive will be like never before to bring this company to the front of the pack in memory of Hawke.

I would venture to say that once is mind is back in his work we will see a huge stride forward with his actions and his PR's

I would guess that PR was a half hearted attempt to do what he had to do not what he wanted to do.
