If that is correct, if the pps is high or low prior to split, it is not that big a deal. It simply means that you own 1/5th of the number of shares, but they are 5x more valuable.
It does mean that post split share prices are more likely to go up in larger increments and it makes it easier to move up to a more trusted and less volatile board, such as OTCC or Nasdaq.
