Is it too late to buy AMNE and get the 5-for-1 forward split?

I read the article. It said that you had to be a shareholder on record as of July 31. Well, today is July 28, and it takes 3 days for the stock to settle after buying it. So if I buy it today before closing today, then will I count toward getting the 5-for-1 split?
