I hear what your saying Praxis. I don't think its in the cards but thats cool. I can tell you for a fact that the technology hasn't been patented anywhere in the world. They looked at it at one time but I don't believe that anything they've done to-date is patentable. Spread Spectrum radio was patented years ago (WWII) and has since expired. Putting a radio inside a meter was done 15 years ago and therefore not patentable. Luca Spig offered an explanation at one point in the past but who knows what was fact or ficion.
