You're right. D&D are upfront and honest, but only to a point. You think they are going to tell a shareholder exactly what is going on? Doubtful, and downright stupid at times.
Who is the VC...? Probably a nobody, because if they weren't they could PR just the fact that they are a big name firm. They say they cannot disclose the name 'for obvious reasons'. That makes no sense.
As for cell phones being phased out, that's just Lou running his mouth. That will never happen.

It's always forward-looking statements with IBC..you should know that by now. The numbers D is quoting are nothing more than guesses and wild speculation. Without successful AM radio implementation, there will be no increase in revs.
Need to be realistic about everything IBC does, as a shareholder I am obligated to doing that. I'm not bashing, just stating what I see the issues are, basing it on past experiences with IBC's PR's and 'speculation'.
