Intersting you mention all those practical things. You already know I agree. My daughter is in grade 7 now. Everyone must take home ec including a sewing project. Everyone must also take metal and wood shop. They have two years to get this done. Good idea I thought. I think I lucked out on this middle school. Unfortunately unlike some it is only 7-8 and not 7-8-9 which makes more sense to me....

Mostly CASH and yield.. but solar Powered in the future :O)
