hey sent, good to hear from you. i think one can use these time cycles for intermediate to long term trading too. a mutual fund manager could easily trade off the 18 month/80 wk cycle if he wished to avoid turnover and he would be in for a good part of major up moves and out of most declines. for that matter, an investor handling his 401k could also use these longer time frames to his advantage.
