Phils, 2 things come to mind

1. Volume precedes price.

2. In my business, I buy and sell certain items of value from individuals. Cash is very tight for many people right now. I'm seeing many with immediate needs at the same time that many of my competitors have stopped buying or are offering very little for the item. People are forced to sell because of their situation at the best price they can get on any given day, especially when they have no more time. My guess is that whoever is selling needs cash now and does not have the luxury of waiting.

I also believe that the price will move when they have raised enough cash to cover their immediate need.
