Libya says it will either allow the CNPC deal to go forward; deny it on the basis of national interests; or purchase Verenex itself, invoking a clause in Verenex's drilling contract with Libya that allows the state to take over a deal if it sees fit.

"All things are under consideration and we hope to reach a decision by August, if not before," said Shokri Ghanem, head of Libya's national oil company.

ABOVE NEWS IS FROM VNX.....
I grabbed this from the Verenex news release, because Shokri words are in quotations and you know the "HEAD OF THE LIBYA NATIONAL OIL COMPANY" is a man of his words..

This is the reason for the flood gate of news not being released from Libya... Back in Feb. when they were shock by the China deal, they put the brakes on all news coming out of NOC and any related news...

Well Gentlemen, and I use that term loosely, it's time to open up these "Flood Gate" and let the news flow as well as the Oil.

The man is quoted at saying on or before August...
