any ideas on why the rich american oil companies (record profits and all) didn't do much (except buy back their own shares) over the last 8 years even with oil men running the political side of things? i don't agree the current administration has a thing to do with the lack of action. i have no idea WHY exxon (for instance) doesn't do more, but it isn't because of who is in office, as the last 8 years have more than proven.
