Earlier news says that Volvo denied any rumors of selling off Volvo, including all allocations relating to Geely.
Question: If Volvo is operating at a loss, why is Geely buying it and taking it off of Fords hands? Yes, they can do it cheaper and can penetrate the foreign market, but Volvo is bottoming out, so it is more likely (with news) Ford will just keep it and turn the company around soon, especially with how well Ford, as the parent company, is doing. Would this hurt Geely if they bought such a poor business?
