I am not one who thinks a buyout is anywhere close to happening, however when it comes to a country's national security concerning energy resources, what we would consider "crazy money offers", any number is possible. Even force will be used.
Look at what the US has done to secure these types of resources for the past 70 years.
If the Chinese want it, they will get it.
If the US wants it, we got a bidding war!
Many eyes are watching this, as drilling commences many more will be studying results.
