The Smarter Sponge(TM), (OTCBB: SPNG - News) is pleased to announce that the
Company will be participating at the 9th Annual Nautica New York City Triathlon
at Central Park on Sunday July 26, 2009. The Triathlon is an Olympic Distance
race consisting of a 1500m swim, a 40k bike, and a 10k run. Each year over 3000
athletes brave the waters of the mighty Hudson River before biking along
Manhattan's West Side highway and finally running through New York's famed
Central Park.

SpongeTech(R) will be exhibiting its innovative reusable cleaning product line
in a booth at the finish line, selling to the public. The Company is a sponsor
of the second annual IAMS Doggy Dash, an event that gives dog owners and their
"best friend" the chance to compete in tandem over a 5 miles run course.
SpongeTech(R) will also be bathing the participating dogs in the recovery area
with its Uncle Norman's Pet Sponge. Prior to the main event, SpongeTech(R) will
also be exhibiting at the UnitedHealthcare Sports and Fitness Expo held at the
Sheraton New York on Friday and Saturday, July 24 and 25, 2009 and will be
hosting the Toddler Trot at the Reebok Sports Club on Thursday, July 23, 2009.
