If this was any other field but alternative energy, you might have a case. With big oil companies having a major stake in this I believe Brian is correct in being cautious with the information he puts out. Imagine you were the ceo and were trying to break into a new field that until now, really didn't have the support from the government or the american people it has now. would you tell your shareholders whats going on just so they could sleep easier at night or would you be more concerned with the short and long term health of your company? If showing your cards put your whole project at risk, would you show them. I think once you begin to think like a ceo you will realize he is doing the only thing he can, and thats keeping quiet, knowing it will be of far more health to the company than possibly cutting his business throat.
