Wind energy has it's place but it is limited do to consistency of the wind and politics. Many jurisdictions simply do not want to look at the turbines in their back yard. There are still many remote areas in the plains and off -shore that will work. Most experts do not see wind ever producing more than 20 % of electricity in the US.

As an invetment the train has pretty much left the station.
