Pig-man,

Very good question. The short answer is: I know of no public documents that connect the two entities in black and white.

Axis has issued no PRs that deal with operational matters. And only a very sparse sprinkling that concern governance and financial issues.

That’s why investors have been forced to rely on word-of-mouth to get any information, and suffered through all the problems attendant to that method of passing information. Remember the children’s game of whispering a story from one person to the next, and the result?

I’m sure I don’t understand the reason for the pseudo-secrecy; after all, it’s not like the Libyan – Axis connection isn’t implicitly known and understood by every investor of the stock. The only answer that seems to make sense is “Plausible Deniability”. In fact, I've lobbied several times for more corporate openness to no avail. I don’t doubt that there was once a strategic reason behind this decision. I really wonder if that reason would make as much sense in today’s further developed situation. I’d guess it wouldn’t. Maybe it’s time to part the drapes a little.

My views are my opinion. I'm not a professional analyst. (Neither is Petey, but at least he has an MBA.) You should do your own DD.
