DivXNetworks, a developer of video compression and
video-on-demand technologies, said on Tuesday that Wellspring Media has
licensed the company's video-on-demand distribution system for use on its
VideoCollection.com site. Wellspring will use the technology to sell
high-quality downloads of movies it offers.
