EClips Energy Technologies Announces the Completion of PATI Prototype for Commercial and Consumer Markets
The New System Can Destroy Airborne Biological Contaminants Such as Viruses, Bacteria, Microbes, Mold, Spores, Mildews, and Human Odors
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Jul 14, 2009 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- EClips Energy Technologies, Inc., /quotes/comstock/11k!ecet (ECET 0.04, +0.00, +7.32%) announced today the successful development of a prototype 'Pure Air' unit which will be offered to both commercial and domestic customers. The system utilizes the PATI (Pure Air) technology acquired by the Company from the University of Florida, following the successful development of a sterile air system for NASA's long term space travel.
The PATI system will be marketed as 'EClips Gamma 1' pure air system and the Company hopes to have retail units available in the next few months. The EClips Gamma 1 units will be launched into a market with an increasing requirement for 'sterile' air. The system will destroy all biological contaminants such as viruses, bacteria, microbes, mold, spores, mildews, and human odors. It will also decompose harmful chemical agents such as gasses, toxins, vapors and hydrocarbons. The system will also kill bugs such as termites and cockroaches.
Testing and calibration of the prototype will enable a final pre-production model to be developed by the end of August, 2009 and following the commissioning of manufacturing and assembly facilities, batch production of saleable units would be available by late summer. A rigorous testing and approval program will be instituted to prove the capabilities of the PATI system in the EClips Gamma 1 model.
The development of the EClips Gamma 1 prototype is the result of two years of research and development in EET's St. Petersburg laboratory. The new model has been designed from a series of tests carried out in enclosed buildings and passenger transport vehicles. In every case, testing confirmed the destruction of all harmful biological and chemical inclusions in air. The system also cleansed fabrics and surfaces within the test spaces.
