Just received Winning Colours - Review 11-Jul-09 04:00 pm I ordered Winning Colours from Amazon.com on Tuesday and it arrived at my house this morning.

It works! It really works! I tried it on a coulple of carpet stains that we had for a few months and it took them out. We had used Resolve and another carpet cleaner before but you could still see the the stain partially still there. Winning Colours removed ALL of the stain.

The only really drawbacks is that it does have a relatively strong odor and tells you to use it in a well ventilated area.

Also if you go to their website and look on "how to use" they will tell you how to dilute it to use with laundry and other tasks but on the actual bottle all it says is "Winning Colours can be diluted for general cleaning or used full strength, as desired." I would find it helpful if they were more specific with how to dilute for different task on the actual bottle so people would readily see its versatility. And it comes in a bottle that squirts our like a water bottle instead of a spray bottle. I suppose I could put it in a spray bottle but it would be more convenient if it came that way. They may have other products that spray like the Firmula 409 cleaner - I will have to reasearch.

Bottom line - with my carpet it was great. I even wanted to go to the store and buy some red wine to spill on the carpet but my wife nixed that idea :(

Come to think of it though, we do have so remnants in our garage from when we replaced our carpet a year ago. I will pull some of that out and put wine, mustard, nail polish and grease in different spots and see how that works. If anyone else has anything else they would like me to try let me know - I am too squamish to stick myself to get blood so don't even ask.

It works and I am more convinced than ever that this will take off in the near future once Lowes and other stores nationally pick it up.
