just had a conversation with a coworker about this. he said, short term ( < year) cap gains for a stock is taxed at whatever bracket you're in that given year (likely a higher bracket for most with the way this stock is moving). long term (after a year) is 20% flat on year+ stock gains. someone else on the board mentioned 0% after 5 years, but i've not heard anything about that. i work with financial advisors, so I and can verify this wednesday when i'm back in the office.
