NEWS FLASH:
Microsoft, China (NasdaqNM:MSFT) selects E-Mobile Information Technologies as one of the top 20 companies out of 200 competitors to co-market its "Smart Phone" services in China. This will be a close partnership with Microsoft to market Smart phone value-added services. Microsoft also invited CHL to become a full member in the wireless sector for its partnership support program. The alliance will likely lead to other important opportunities with Microsoft.
In-Stat/MDR forecasts 118 million 3G wireless subscribers in China by 2008. EMC reports that the Chinese wireless market is already larger than the entire U.S. cell phone market and that its subscriber base will grow by 112% to over 547 million by '09.
E MOBILE INFO TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (Pink Sheets:EMTK)
Investment Highlights
-- China represents a huge market for mobile users which is
forecast to approach 350 million in '05 and 500 million in '08
-- China and the U.S. are the main target areas for EMTK
-- Strategic alliances will add value for shareholders
-- The Company offers products for the smart-phone, which offers
the computing power and flexibility of a computer and the
mobility and connectivity of a wireless phone
E-Mobile Information Technologies, Inc. is focusing on its milestone achievement working along side Microsoft, China (NasdaqNM:MSFT). Their efforts to market the Smart phone value-added services will incorporate new and existing technology supplied by Microsoft to compliment the products used by E-Mobile Information Technology. Initially, Microsoft informed the Company that it wants to work with CHL's mobile publishing system - which allows users to download and read online books, as well as allows writers to publish their books on CHL's website and subsequently be downloaded to a user's cell phone. In the near future, Microsoft, China will commercially promote and recommend CHL's Mobile publishing system to cell phone OEM manufacturers and value-added service providers. Microsoft has invited CHL to become a full member in the wireless sector for its partnership support program.
China's demand for 3G wireless technologies is growing at a tremendous pace and over the next five years, both production and demand will explode. CHL is ahead of its competitors in ready applications and contents for the new smart phone, putting the company in an excellent position for the up-coming 3G content market. CHL has committed to becoming a leading provider of these high tech services internationally.
NEWEST PRODUCTS
The company will count heavily on the technology of the Smart-phone. This stands to reason, as there is tremendous potential directly ahead for this technology. According to IDC's Worldwide Mobile Phone Qview, worldwide mobile phone shipments increased by 29.3% year-over-year to 152.7 million units. Over the next 12 to 18 months, demand will accelerate. Brought on by worldwide popularity of mobile telephony, both the pen-based handheld device and converged mobile device markets continue to evolve toward new market opportunities and pockets of demand. This in turn offers the company a significant revenue opportunity in 2004 and beyond.
Other Growth Opportunities
The future of pervasive computing demands powerful and flexible development platforms. Convenience to the user is at the core of what E-Mobile is doing. The ability to access information anytime from anywhere drastically increases our productivity as well as our quality of life by allowing us to work or play from home, car school or vacation resorts, and manage time more flexibly. By taking advantage of wireless technology one can customize information services for each user based on their mood, location or other data.
If EMTK can successfully market its products in the U.S. and China, there appears to be enormous potential for this company.
