Intel still plagued by delays, to postpone Madison 9M to 4Q

...Some sources said the delay may have been caused by Intel dedicating too many of its resources toward its goal of a mid-2005 implementation of a dual-core Smithfield processor for desktops, instead of sometime in 2006 as originally planned.
