Reading an IT article today reminded me of when I first bought in here. That was a couple of name changes and RSs ago and Empyrean was going to own much of the worlds fibre optic backbones (or so they said). With the internet on the verge of failing in the next couple of years (MJs death nearly took it down last week, and many analysts peg 2012 as the year that the internet will become 'full' as data size and transmission has by far outgrown most network's abilities), it looks like the time may have come for that idea. Too bad we're not in that line of work anymore.
